The world of full-size luxury sedans is luxurious but very expensive, and not many people are really able to have it as their daily driver. However, for those who can make use of it, options can be very tiring - from Germany to Japan - there are several sets of wheeled business jets sold today. One of the most influential and popular marques in this niche segment is the Cadillac. The American car maker has produced some of the most luxurious and sought-after cars, especially in recent years. And one of them is their current flagship sedan, CT6.
The Cadillac CT6 was first launched at the New York International Auto Show in 2015, and when it launched, became the first modern full-size luxury sedan in a few moments. For the basics, Cadillac has used the new Omega platform from General Motors, which, in fact, made its debut with CT6. Based on the status and size of its flagship, some of the most direct competitors of the Cadillac CT6 include people like the Audi A8, BMW 7-Series, Lexus LS, and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. However, in terms of price, CT6 is a way, much cheaper than the others in its class.

Exterior
Compared to its competitors, Cadillac CT6 is not available with different wheelbase variants (SWB or LWB), but that does not mean that CT6 is compact with all imagination. From nose to tail, the size of this Caddy is 5,182 meters long, while its width is 1,880 meters and its height is 1,471 meters. A very important wheelbase number reads 3,109 meters, which is less than the others in this segment. Regarding its appearance, the Cadillac CT6 doesn't miss certain X factors, and it also doesn't really flow visual charisma or sophistication. However, CT6 has its own personality and appeal, which clearly helps it stand out when parked next to Germany. Throughout the outside of the CT6 bodywork, there are some interesting folds, lines and contours - this helps maintain a monotonous shape.
Up front, the Cadillac CT6's grille design is flanked by strange-looking LED headlamps with drooping DRL bars. The nose is contoured if the CT6 has a smooth bumper that also features LED cornering lights and sporty air intake ventilation. The side design doesn't look too attractive, but it has a large 20-inch alloy wheels, chrome details, and extended rear overhangs. The back of the CT6 that looks bland combines the LED tail lights, carved bumper light, and twin exhaust pipes.
Inland
Inside the Cadillac CT6 cabin, the overall design looks and feels modern and luxurious, but not always contemporary or attractive. The material, however, feels quite luxurious and it looks like the Cadillac doesn't cut the angle seen here. There is plenty of room for four adults, while the chairs are easily the most comfortable around. However, the backseat is best suited for carrying two people and even then, a low roof can block headroom.
Among its extensive equipment list, there are adaptive headlamps, radar cruise control, active dampers, split sunroof, Bose 34-speaker sound system, quad-zone climate control, heated & cold front seats, HD surround camera systems, HD surround camera systems 10.2-inch touch-entertainment system with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, and LED mood lighting. CT6 also gets seven airbags, collision detection with emergency braking, blind-spot warning and lane-change, lane maintenance assistance, traction control and stability etc.
Engine and performance
Cadillac CT6 can be owned with twin-turbo, 3.0-liter V6 with 404hp and 540Nm of torque. It can get this heavy sedan from stopping up to 100 km / h in 4.6 seconds and to an electronically regulated top speed of 250 km / h. Meanwhile, the usual 3.6 liter V6 variant is assisted by 335 horsepower and can reach a ton-mark in 5.7 seconds which is relatively fast.
